Psychological satisfaction and physical comfort are two fundamental factors in the use of space: in a well-suited environment we live better and stay more willingly, and when the body is at ease the mind works better, with the result that we are more focused, more creative and more inclined to socialise — in other words, more productive. But a space conceived appropriately, following particular design strategies and specifically tailored to a company's characteristics, also has significant repercussions in terms of economic return, since ensuring the right emotions for users means empathising with people, and emotions aligned with a company's values generate business. These are the overarching goals, the concept and the design substance that we at Studio Andreani have been working with for more than twenty years — ever since our studio was founded in Conegliano, back in 1999.
We are a studio specialising in the architectural art direction of public, executive, retail and museum spaces and of homes, and in interior design and supply; we have expertise in the scenographic, lighting, chromatic and psychological aspects of the design environment; we work with more than two hundred craftspeople (joiners, metalworkers, set builders, decorators and so on) to give life and soul to our projects. Our vision is to create environments that, by moving people, add value to those who live in them; our mission is to combine different elements such as space, light, form, colour and objects to generate emotion and quality of life, while increasing the level of intimacy between people and the spaces they live in. We believe in the values of knowledge, trust, passion, ethics, dedication, creativity and enjoyment.
Our projects have received international awards and mentions and have been shown at architecture exhibitions: among the most recent, Iconic Awards - Innovative Architecture (Germany, 2020) with the Museo Bombardieri del Re project; Platform Architecture and Design (Italy, 2019 and 2020) with the Museo Scuola Bombardieri del Re and Atelier Parati e Decori projects; BIG SEE Awards - Interior Design (Slovenia, 2022) with the Zaia Serramenti and Odontoiatrica Dottori Val projects.
