My Heart Is Here

A manor farmhouse in the UNESCO World Heritage hills. This is a house of great historical and documentary value, where we carried out a restoration tailored to the clients: Guido is a collector who has lived here since he was a child, while Sonia, his wife, is a discerning person with a love of beauty. As well as remaking the garden, the project also involved a complete refurbishment of the interiors, creating new living spaces and open-plan rooms: in every choice, architecture is placed at the service of the person, and the generating core of the project was a careful, in-depth analysis of the clients' habits and needs, with the aim of allowing the house itself to express the owners' tastes and requirements in full. The result of our work is that whereas Sonia and Guido once lived in a place they felt did not fully belong to them, the project has brought their life and their passions to the fore: now, in every space in the house, the clients can be in contact with art and craftsmanship, the things they are most passionate about.
