A Gallery of Emotions

For this contemporary-inspired salon, the concept developed with the client lies in the choice of a modern, minimalist setting in which the architectural space steps back to leave the focus of attention on the person.

The salon is characterised by very tall spaces and extensive use of glazed and mirrored surfaces that create a recursive play of forms and echoes with the graphics of the full-height wallpaper, which depicts glimpses of Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and was chosen to emphasise the height of the space still further: this wallpaper is intended to take people out of themselves — people who often spend hours at the hairdresser's — making their stay more pleasant and seemingly shorter. Particular attention is paid to the ergonomics of the spaces, such as the ceiling wallpapers, conceived to create a piece of storytelling visible while the hair is being washed.
