Fortuny

Description

In the heart of the Giudecca, inside the last factory still in operation in Venice, our project for Fortuny takes shape — a name that stands for textile excellence, visual culture and Venetian craftsmanship.

A singular place, where Mariano Fortuny's legacy lives on through extraordinary fabrics, techniques preserved over time, aesthetic research and a vision able to bring together art, invention, light and matter.

Working on a Fortuny space means entering into a relationship with an identity that is already powerful, recognisable and deeply layered. The project springs from the desire to interpret this heritage with respect and sensitivity, translating it into an environment that tells the story of the brand in a coherent, contemporary and immersive way.

The showroom was conceived as a genuine experiential atelier rather than merely an exhibition space: a place of relationship, discovery and personalisation. Interior design, display, light, materials, depth, reflections and atmosphere work together to give spatial form to the Fortuny universe.

Architecture thus becomes a tool of identity. The space guides the visitor, directs the gaze, showcases the textile material and builds an experience that makes the brand tangible, memorable and authentic.

Every design decision engages with the history of the manufactory and with its contemporary evolution, respecting the character of the place and amplifying its narrative power.

A project about building an atmosphere, defining a language and giving architectural form to an iconic identity. A place where Venice, manufacturing excellence and contemporary design continue to meet.
