Two Wings

Project awarded at the MUSE Design Awards – New York

Description
Two Wings offers a model of fitness in which space and the senses work together to create motivation, identity and wellbeing. The aim is for the state generated inside the gym to be carried outside as well: what you experience along the way stays with you as energy, balance and a positive attitude.
The project applies the principles of neuroarchitecture to guide the user's emotional state along a clear, progressive sequence, from everyday mental pressure to a motivational reset that increases energy, focus and the desire to train. Discreet scents, soundscapes, colour, calibrated and theatrical lighting and surfaces with varying tactile qualities build a synaesthetic, enveloping experience.
Built in Florence as an experiential boutique gym for Alice Elam, Technogym Master Instructor and an ICYFF official reference, the concept translates identity and performance into coherent, recognisable spaces, designed to support the user's experience and the value of the brand.
The Cycling Room is immersive and collective, with magenta and red light, rhythmic music and a dynamic setting that turns training into an event. The route continues into the AperiShopping area, a shopping and aperitif space where the post-class moment becomes an occasion to meet and share how you feel, building relationships in a convivial atmosphere.
The Body and Mind Room slows the pace through muted tones, soft surfaces and controlled light, encouraging concentration and fluidity. The StoreFit Room, pared back and technological, showcases EMS with a minimal design and functional lighting. The Recovery Experience with Zerobody and cryotherapy introduces cool tones and measured light to encourage deep relaxation. Changing rooms, waiting areas and service spaces complete the story with natural materials, wood and tactile surfaces with an industrial accent.
Two Wings thus becomes a design ecosystem in which every choice builds a behaviour, activates a relationship and reinforces the memory.
