Hospitality Among the Vines

A place where you breathe authenticity, where every choice of architecture, design and furnishing is conceived to reveal the true essence of the genius loci — an old farm building set in nature, enjoying the peace that comes from standing among the greenery of the hills. The sense of wonder begins the very moment you enter the property, welcomed by the embrace of a century-old wood that accompanies you to the entrance area. The thread running through the project is immersion, nature and peace, understood as the utmost care for the guest and as a deep relationship with the setting.

The story of the project is built on the metaphor of wine, as the element that provides work and therefore both economic and spiritual wealth, while at the same time shaping the surrounding landscape. Vineyards completely surround the site, their textures carrying the eye down the valley, across the Prosecco hills and on, to the horizon, as far as the town of Conegliano. The vine is also taken as a symbol of life itself, which, in order to develop fully, must have strong roots — and therefore values — while reaching towards the sky, like tendrils and foliage, in order to take in light and oxygen fully: a metaphor for human plans and virtues. Another founding value that shapes the project is sharing, understood not only as a shared purpose but also as shared space, where the counterpoint between the private areas, devoted to the guest's care and relaxation, interweaves with those given over to sharing experiences, sensations and knowledge.
